FAQ

QUESTION

ANSWER

What should I wear?

You want your outfits to compliment your surroundings and each other. Think of the location we will be shooting when picking your clothing. I typically recommend neutral colors. This includes grays, white, forest green, mustard yellow, navy, etc. Bright or fluorescent colors are often distracting and draw the attention away from your face. More than anything wear something that you feel comfortable in. I recommend bringing multiple outfits to choose from.

When is the best time to take photos?

Lighting is the most important element in photography. Natural light is the most flattering. Direct sunlight though can cause harsh shadows, especially under the eyes and nose. For this reason, it is best to avoid the hours between 10a.m. and 3p.m. The best hours for shooting outdoors are the few hours before sunset.

How will I receive my images?

Photos will be delivered as high-resolution JPEG files in an online gallery. You will then be able to download the images and share them.
